Uzbekistan sells over 121,000 vehicles in Jan–Apr 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Automotive manufacturers in Uzbekistan sold 121,601 vehicles in the first four months of 2026, according to data from the UzAvtosanoat. The figures cover the period from January to April and reflect sales across six active production enterprises in the country.
UzAuto Motors, the largest automaker in Uzbekistan, maintained its dominant position in the domestic market, selling 58,168 vehicles. This accounts for nearly 48% of total domestic vehicle sales.
The company produces a wide range of models under various brands, including Chevrolet.
Khorezm Auto ranked second in terms of sales volume with 37,559 vehicles, giving it about 31% of the market.
ADM Jizzakh sold 14,460 vehicles during the reporting period, taking third place among domestic manufacturers and holding around 12% of the local market.
BYD Uzbekistan Factory sold 10,927 vehicles over the four-month period, capturing a 9% market share.
Two smaller players recorded significantly lower volumes. SamAuto sold 386 vehicles, representing a 0.3% share, while Asaka Motors closed the period with 101 units sold, or a 0.1% share.
Segment data shows that B-segment sedans remain the most in-demand category, accounting for 36% of the market. Light commercial vehicles represent 31% of sales, while SUV-B and SUV-G crossovers account for approximately 22% and 7% respectively.
Among the most popular models, Chevrolet Cobalt led with 29,923 units sold, followed by Chevrolet Damas with 25,680 units and Chevrolet Tracker with 14,056 units.
The top twenty models also included Chevrolet Onix, Chevrolet Labo, Kia Sonet, and various models from Chinese brands.
