Power Supply Restoration Begins in Two Tashkent Districts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Electricity supply is being gradually restored to consumers affected by a fault at the 110/10/6 kV Vystavochnaya substation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Energy said.

According to the ministry, voltage has already been supplied to the substation’s T-2 transformer. Specialists are now gradually energizing the 6 kV and 10 kV distribution systems, after which electricity supply to all affected consumers will be fully restored.

The Ministry of Energy previously reported that a fault occurred at a 110 kV substation at 18:58 on 1 June. The incident involved equipment supplying 6 kV power lines and caused temporary electricity disruptions for some consumers in the capital’s Shaykhantahur and Almazar districts.

The ministry said emergency teams promptly began work to eliminate the consequences of the fault and apologized to consumers for the inconvenience caused by the outage.
