Uzbekistan Reviews Reconstruction of State Circus
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek authorities have discussed plans for the reconstruction and modernization of the facilities of the Uzbek State Circus during a meeting held at the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
The discussion was chaired by First Deputy Culture Minister Avazkhon Tadjikhanov. Representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the Tashkent city administration, the Cultural Heritage Agency, the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, and the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health also attended the meeting.
Participants reviewed proposals for the large-scale renovation of Uzbek State Circus facilities, the construction of additional premises for keeping animals and the installation of modern equipment at the complex.
The meeting also addressed issues related to improving the wage system and financial incentives for circus employees.
Following the discussions, the participants agreed to establish a special working group that will oversee the implementation of the proposed initiatives and prepare the necessary measures for the next stage of the project.
