Male Tourists Dominate Visitor Flow in Uzbekistan in Q1

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–March 2026, Uzbekistan was visited by 2,872,502 foreign citizens from 164 countries for tourism purposes, with men making up the majority, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

Official figures show that during the reporting period the country was visited by 1,652,951 men and 1,219,551 women. This indicates that the share of male tourists was higher than that of female visitors, alongside a stable increase in overall inbound tourist flows.

The statistics also reflect the age structure of foreign visitors. The largest group consisted of tourists aged 31 to 55, totaling 1,527,429 people.

They were followed by visitors aged 19 to 30, numbering 499,982 people. Tourists over the age of 56 accounted for 543,859 visitors, while children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 made up 301,232 people.

Overall, the data points to broad geographical coverage and sustained international interest in Uzbekistan, as well as a predominance of working-age visitors among inbound tourists.
