Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake was felt in Uzbekistan with the epicenter in Afghanistan, Republican center of Seismic Forecast of Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The distance of the epicenter from Tashkent was 473 km away from the south directions. The magnitude was 5.9.

Power of tremors in Tashkent, Namangan Andijan, Ferghana, Jizzakh, Gulistan, Samarkand, Bukhara, Termez and Qarshi was 2 points.
