Uzbekistan to Establish City & Guilds Qualification Centers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment of Uzbekistan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the international organization City & Guilds, under which the country plans to establish international-level qualification assessment centers.
City & Guilds has nearly 150 years of experience in vocational education and has developed more than 1,400 training programs. The organization operates in more than 80 countries and is one of the global institutions in the field of professional skills assessment.
According to the memorandum, qualification assessment centers meeting international standards and recognized globally will be established in Uzbekistan.
The initiative is aimed at improving the quality of vocational education and enhancing the competitiveness of young people and specialists in the international labor market.
