SCO Countries Discuss Security and Coordination
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 April 2026, regular consultations on international activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and regional security were held in Moscow at the level of deputy foreign ministers of member states.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on current international and regional issues, including existing security challenges and threats.
They also discussed further strengthening of foreign policy coordination within the organization.
Particular attention was paid to enhancing the role of the SCO on the international stage, ensuring sustainable regional stability, and improving mechanisms of cooperation, including the development of the legal and regulatory framework for collaboration.
