New regulation allows Uzbek companies to hold meetings online
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A regulation has been established in Uzbekistan for remote participation in meetings of management bodies of business organizations.
The regulation “On the Procedure for Remote Participation and Voting at Meetings of Management Bodies of Business Organizations Using Information and Communication Technologies” was registered with the Ministry of Justice on 24 March 2025, under number 3613.
The document defines the procedure for remote participation and voting at meetings of the management bodies of joint-stock companies and limited liability companies using modern information and communication technologies.
According to the regulation, the meeting notice sent to participants will specify the procedure for online participation and voting, as well as the following details: the name of the videoconferencing platform and the access link, user identification information, and the contact details of the technical specialist responsible for ensuring access.
Meetings will be held in videoconference mode using the specified platform.
