Canada Coach Jesse Marsch Praises Uzbekistan Ahead of Friendly Match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Canada national football team head coach Jesse Marsch has spoken positively about Uzbekistan ahead of the upcoming friendly match between the two sides.
According to the coach, Uzbekistan is a strong team and the upcoming game is expected to generate significant interest among fans.
“They are all very proud to be part of this moment. I am just trying to do everything possible to prepare them to show their best, and I am confident they will do so,” Marsch said, referring to his players.
The Canadian coach also expressed confidence that the stands at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton will be filled with spectators.
The friendly match between Uzbekistan and Canada will take place on 2 June at Commonwealth Stadium.
Kick-off is scheduled for 06:00 Tashkent time.
