Winners of Startup Pitch Uzbekistan Announced in Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Startup Pitch Competition Day: Uzbekistan was held in Samarkand as part of the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2026 forum, where the most promising technology startups in the country were selected.
The forum took place on 20–21 May 2026, with participation from the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beeline Uzbekistan, and VEON. It served as an international platform for discussions on artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, innovation, and the digital economy.
The Startup Pitch Competition Day was organized by GSMA together with IT Park Uzbekistan, IT Park Ventures, and ITU, aiming to connect Uzbek startups with international investors and representatives of the global technology ecosystem.
Speakers at the event included GSMA CFO Louis Esterbrook and CEO of IT Park Ventures Dalerhon Nodirov. The jury consisted of international industry representatives such as GSMA CTO Alex Sinclair, Opensignal VP Industry Analysis Sylvia Kechiche, KPMG Uzbekistan Partner Artem Saidov, Managing Director of Future Laboratory Medeya Jandjgava, and Investment Associate at DOMiNO Ventures Aziza Satibaldiyeva.
The startups REZVO, AzizAI, EduFuse, NavAI, TAHLEEL, and Swipies presented their solutions during the pitch session.
NavAI won first place, receiving US$10,000 in investment from IT Park Ventures and an opportunity to participate in the 4YFN exhibition at MWC Barcelona 2027. EduFuse took second place with US$7,000 in funding, while AzizAI secured third place with US$5,000 in investment.
Organizers noted that Startup Pitch Competition Day: Uzbekistan continues to strengthen the country’s position as a regional hub connecting the startup ecosystem with international investors and global technology companies.
