UzA reported that Vkusnof Trade launched exports of packed fried sunflower seeds and peanuts, White Machine Technology started to export TV-sets and gas-stoves under Artel trademark. Culminal Invest began export of glue, Zenuniso Ona – sweets, chocolate and cookies, while Chiroqchi Kvars – quartz sand.

The businesses expanded assortment and geography of exports. Currently, products are exported to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, United States, Germany, India, South Korea, and China. The businesses exported construction materials, plastics goods, polyethylene pipes, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, melons and gourds.

Uztadbirkorexport also helps businesses to participate in international trade-industrial exhibitions and fairs. In 2012, businesses of Surkhandarya and Ferghana regions demonstrated their products in Berlin at Fruit Logistica exhibition. Farmers and businesses of Ferghana, Namangan, Samarkand region and Tashkent attended World Food Mosсow. Several agreements with foreign partners were signed.

According to the estimates of specialists, farmers can earn in average US$50,000 per hectare due to storage of fruits and vegetables of apples and their export. Currently, Uzbekistan exports apples, pomegranates, grapes, apricots, persimmon, plums, melons, and water-melons.

Uztadbirkorexport said it is ready to supply fruits and vegetables to any country of the world. In 2012, the company exported 50 types of products, 20 types of tinned fruits and vegetables, as well as melons and gourds.

Uztadbirkorexport noted that Freshgrinagro exported 30 tonnes of cherries, packed into 500 gram packages, to Norway. Shovot Korakum also exports melons to Russia and Syrdarya’s farmers deliver their melons to Latvia. Farmers from Ferghana Valley supply 4 tonnes of nuts to South Korea.

Deputy director of Uztadbirkorexport Akmalhon Olimhonov said business address to company in search of assistance to export of products. He said that Uztadbirkorexport helps them to find partners and with all export procedures.

In 2013, Uztadbirkorexport is planning to expand cooperation with small businesses in order to increase number of exporters and assortment of goods. Currently, the company has offices in all regions of Uzbekistan. The company has created database of producers, which allows to expand cooperation with foreign partners.
