Prices for Popular Local Cars

In February, average prices for popular local models saw a decline:

Onix: moderately used -3% (US$13,500 → US$13,100), lightly used -0.1% (US$14,865 → US$14,850)

Lacetti: heavily used -0.3% (US$13,500 → US$13,461)

Cobalt: moderately used -2.4% (US$12,300 → US$12,000), lightly used -1.2% (US$12,750 → US$12,600), heavily used -0.5% (US$11,600 → US$11,538)

Nexia: moderately used -1.9% (US$11,500 → US$11,284), heavily used -0.9% (US$10,800 → US$10,700)

Spark: moderately used -1% (US$10,500 → US$10,400), heavily used -0.9% (US$9,600 → US$9,500)

Damas: moderately used -3.6% (US$7,985 → US$7,000), lightly used -0.8% (US$8,061 → US$8,000)

Prices for Local Luxury Cars

Equinox: heavily used -1.1% (US$27,300 → US$27,000), moderately used +3.2% (US$31,000 → US$32,000)

Malibu: lightly used -0.7% (US$31,907 → US$31,682), moderately used +0.2% (US$29,000 → US$29,070)

Tracker: heavily used -1.1% (US$16,984 → US$16,800), lightly and moderately used unchanged

Prices for Electric Vehicles

The BYD E2 model became a strong competitor among popular local cars, while BYD Song Plus prices fell significantly:

BYD E2: new -1.8% (US$16,800 → US$16,500), heavily used -2.0% (US$14,800 → US$14,500)

BYD Han: new -0.5% (US$32,150 → US$32,000), moderately used -4.4% (US$36,500 → US$34,900)

BYD Song Plus DM-i Champion: new -1.7% (US$29,000 → US$28,500), moderately used -0.2% (US$27,050 → US$27,000), heavily used -0.6% (US$24,650 → US$24,500)

BYD Song Plus EV Champion: new -1.1% (US$28,000 → US$27,700)

BYD Yuan Up: new -1.4% (US$20,800 → US$20,514)

Prices for Foreign Cars

Kia Sorento: moderately used -1.3% (US$40,000 → US$39,500), heavily used +1.3% (US$39,000 → US$39,500)

Kia Sportage: moderately used -2.3% (US$31,590 → US$30,850), heavily used -4.6% (US$29,733 → US$28,363)

Kia K5: moderately used -1.3% (US$27,549 → US$27,200), heavily used -1.9% (US$26,500 → US$26,000)

Vehicle Categories by Usage and Year of Manufacture

Lightly used: 2025 models or 2024 models with less than 20,000 km

Moderately used: 2024 models with 20,000–50,000 km, or 2022–2023 models with less than 40,000 km

Heavily used: 2024 models with over 50,000 km, 2022–2023 models exceeding 40,000 km, or any 2021 model

Research Methodology

The study was based on data collected from olx.uz using web scraping. The dataset included cars from 2021 onward, with 20,200 listings processed in January and 18,500 in February.
