Uzbekistan, Ukraine consider cooperation in automobile transportation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek-Ukrainian joint commission on international automobile transportation held its first session in Tashkent, the press service of the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and River Transport said.

The commission was organized in line with the article 22 of the agreement on international automobile transportations, signed between Governments of Uzbekistan and Ukraine on 20 February 1993.

Uzbekistan was attended by representatives of the Uzbek Agency for Automobile and River Transportation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, Republican Road Fund under Ministry of Finance and State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.

Officials of Ministry of Infrastructure, State inspection of land transport security, Association of Ukrainian international automobile transporters and Embassy of Ukraine in Uzbekistan represented Ukraine.

Within two days, the sides considered important and perspective issues of bilateral cooperation in international automobile transportation.

The sides considered implementation of the agreement on international automobile transportation, use of permission documents at international automobile transportation, peculiarities of legislation of two counties in the sector.

At the same time, Uzbek side informed the guests that from 1 April 2013 transporters should submit information on transported goods, including their name, quantity, weight and the cost of cargo, as well as their codes in line with in line with Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System to customs bodies at entering into Uzbekistan.
