Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued a resolution "On measures on attracting to Uzbekistan of no-string technical assistance (grants) of donor countries, international and foreign governmental and non-governmental organizations for 2013-2015" on 29 March 2013.

The project “Assisting to improve national system of radiation safety” has been included to the list of projects, which will be implemented due to technical assistance of donors.

According to the resolution, Commission of the European Union will provide grant at the size of US$812,500 to project implementation.

Within the project, it is planned to develop recommendations on development of legislative base, monitoring system and create data base, as well as train specialists.
