Website Sreda.uz said that information-analytical department on communal, transport, capital construction and construction industry of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted the decision on construction of the pilot energy efficient rural house in Tashkent region on 15 February 2013.

The department directed orders on designing and co-financing of the pilot energy efficient rural house in Tashkent region to State Architecture Construction Inspection, Qishloq Qurilish Bank, Qishloq Qurilish Invest, Qishloq Qurilish Loyiha and UNDP’s Promoting Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings in Uzbekistan Project.

The project will carry out contractual procedures for designing of energy efficient house.

It is planned that the house will be constructed in cooperation with Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO), which agreed to provide free consulting services.
