Uzbekistan Launches Consular Services Mobile App

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Consular Services mobile application for citizens living abroad or planning to travel to other countries.

The new digital service is designed to simplify remote access to consular services and provide convenient access to information about Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad.

The application contains addresses, contact details and geolocation data for embassies and consulates. Users can also access a consular district verification function, which allows them to determine which overseas mission is responsible for their country or region of residence.

At the initial stage, the application enables users to submit applications for a certificate for return to Uzbekistan, as well as for temporary or permanent consular registration. The range of available services is expected to expand in the future.

One of the application’s features is automatic form completion. The system can populate most mandatory fields using official information about the user, helping to reduce the time required for document processing.

The application also includes a dedicated section containing information on visa requirements imposed by foreign countries on Uzbek citizens.

The service is currently operating in test mode, and its database will be regularly updated and expanded.
