USGS report said that Uzbekistan produced 90 tonnes of gold in 2012 against 91 tonnes in 2011 (-1.1%).
Uzbekistan is behind of China (370 tonnes), Australia (250 tonnes), USA (230 tonnes), Russia (205 tonnes), South Africa (170 tonnes), Peru (165 tonnes), Canada (102 tonnes) and Indonesia (95 tonnes) on the volume of gold output.
It is worth to mention that all nine top gold production countries kept their positions on the volume of production of gold in 2012 compared to 2011.
USGS report said that gold production in the world grew by 1.5% year-on-year in 2011 to 2,700 tonnes in 2012.
