Uzbekistan Discusses Gas Cooperation With GECF

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Philippe Mbullila, as part of Uzbekistan Energy Week.

During the talks, the sides discussed the exchange of experience in natural gas supply and the analysis of long-term trends in the global gas market.

Special attention was paid to issues of market stability and gas price forecasting, including possible formats of cooperation within the framework of international engagement.

The parties also exchanged views on participation in joint consultations and technical meetings aimed at developing professional dialogue in the gas sector.
