The decision was adopted in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On measures on ordering turnover of laser emitters in territory of Uzbekistan”.

The resolution was adopted to ensure flights security and prevent illegal turnover of laser emitters in territory of Uzbekistan.

The Government entrusted the State Customs Committee, State Tax Committee, State Border Protection Committee of National Security Service, and Ministry of Interior Affairs to adopt necessary measures to reveal and prevent cases of illegal import, realization and use of laser emitters, and attract guilty persons to liability.

State inspection of Uzbekistan on supervision over flights security introduce changes to legal documents, which envisages order of action of airplane crew at incidents connected with pointing laser emitters to crew cabin.

The Uzbek Government entrusted education ministries, mass media and state bodies in places to carry out explanation work among youth and their parents on negative consequences of pointing laser emitters to people and airplane on air.
