Uzbekistan and United States discuss public diplomacy cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Sarah Rogers, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, with particular attention given to collaboration in education, culture, information exchange, and public diplomacy.

The talks were described as taking place in a warm and substantive atmosphere.

Both sides expressed confidence that the visit would contribute to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States, as well as expanding mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
