The company said that summer navigation is directed at increasing number of direct passengers at international lines of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, attract transit passengers and increase load of flights.

The airline said that frequency of international and internal flights will remain unchanged. However, the airline will increase number of flights to the CIS states.

Uzbekistan Airways will launch second frequency of Tashkent-Riga – New York flight. From 23 May till the mid of September, the airline will conduct second flight Tashkent-Riga – New York flight on Thursdays. Flight from Tashkent to Frankfurt will take off 40 minutes earlier than in winter navigation.

Flights to Rome will be conducted on Mondays during summer navigation and the second flight on Thursdays from 5 September to October. The main flight to Milan will be carried out on Sundays, the second flight on Fridays via Urgench (except in July). The aircraft to Paris will fly on Tuesdays and on Fridays via Urgench.

Uzbekistan Airways will fly to Sharjah on Tuesdays and Sundays and to Dubai on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Uzbek company will fly to Amritsar and Lahor three times a week – on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays, which will ensure comfortable transit to Rome and Milan flights for passengers. The airline will fly to Islamabad twice a week. Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will add another flight to Almaty, which will be carried out on Saturdays. The company may launch new flights from Nukus to Almaty and from Tashkent to Vladivastok.

New summer navigation will be in force till 26 October 2013.
