Uzbek Wrestlers Win Three Medals at Asian U17 Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek athletes won three medals during another day of competition at the Asian U17 Wrestling Championships taking place in Da Nang, Vietnam.

The national team finished the day with one silver and two bronze medals.

Mukhlisa Masharipova claimed the silver medal in the women's 43 kg weight category.

Bronze medals were won by Shakhzoda Azimova in the 65 kg division and Shohiddin Aliyev, who also competed in the 65 kg category.

The Asian U17 Wrestling Championships continue in Vietnam, with Uzbekistan's national team remaining in contention for additional medals at the continental tournament.
