The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides considered current state and perspectives of relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea.

The sides exchanged opinion on implementation of agreements, reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to the Republic of Korea in September 2012.

It was noted that the signed agreements, the sum of which exceeds US$5 billion, lifted bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and investment areas to new level. Trade turnover between two states hit US$2 billion in 2012.

At the meeting, the sides considered other issues of bilateral agenda.
