Members of the commission, Senators, MPs, representatives of ministries and departments, universities and mass media participated at the session.

According to UzA, over 1,500 public organizations implemented 234 projects and programmes of social importance in 2012.

Participants discussed projects, supported by the parliamentary commission in 2012, monitoring of implementation of social orders and subsidies.

They also determined tasks on further strengthening cooperation of NGOs with state bodies in 2013 to implement socially important projects and state programme “The Year of Well-Being and Prosperity”.

It was noted that it is necessary further strengthen social aid to children, youth and women, support projects on ensuring cleanness of environment, improvement of mahallas, raise legal, medical and ecologic culture of population.

The session also discussed issues, related to announcing grant competition of parliamentary commission for 2013.
