Uzbek delegation attends World of Concrete show
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of business circles of Uzbekistan paid a visit to construction show World of Concrete 2013, which is annually held in Chicago, the United States, in February 2013.

The visit of the Uzbek delegation was organized within the IBP (International Buyer Program), which was launched by International Business Travel at the assistance of the US Commerce Department.

The show was hosted in three indoor pavilions and one pavilion with exhibits on open air. The exhibition presented various heavy equipment and tools for production of concrete and cement works, including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and others.

The organizers provided meeting and conference rooms to participants, so they can discuss cooperation issues and agreements.

Among the exhibitors were largest companies from the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Korea, Mexico and Taiwan. The event mainly was attended by representatives of Latin America, which currently conducts large construction works. Among participants were also delegates from Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia.

The delegation of Uzbekistan had a unique chance to visit sky-scraper, which is under construction now. It is expected that this sky-scraper will become one of largest business centers once construction works completed.

Within the exhibition, the Uzbek delegation reached preliminary agreements on supply of mobile concrete production mini-plant, mobile concrete forms and supply of special cement in various colors.

Zokor Honiev, a delegate from Bukhara, said that the visit was cognitive and show presented many new construction equipment, auxiliary tools and raw materials used in work with concrete. It also showed methods of use of modern technologies in construction.

Ulugbek Ulugov a delegate from Bukhara, added that the trip was wonderful. He said that western technologies went ahead as they pay attention both pays attention to surrounding facilities and environment. He underlined that in many construction sites in the city, it is mandatory to install noise installation (not to disturb people with noises at work with concrete) and use of duct collector systems to avoid environment pollution.

The Uzbek delegation also had chance to visit Los Angeles and Las Vegas to familiarize with local sights. They also flied to Grand Canyon on helicopter.

International Business Travel organizes the visits of business delegations to such exhibitions and shows in the United States in line with the partnership agreement signed with Commerce Department of the US Embassy in Tashkent.

According to International Business Travel, it is planned to organize visits of the delegations of Uzbekistan to two shows in the US - Wind Power 2013 (5-8 May, Chicago) and NRA Show 2013 (18-21 May, Chicago).
