During the meeting, the sides discussed wide-scale issues of bilateral relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
It was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and China is developing rapidly. In particular, trade turnover between two states reached US$3.23 billion. Currently, there are 411 enterprises with Chinese capital in Uzbekistan.
Business circles of two states are expressing interest to implementation of joint projects at Navoi free-industrial zone, Angren special economic zone and Jizzakh special industrial zone, which provide significant preferences to foreign investors.
