According to Azerbaijan’s abc.az, representatives of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan reached agreement to hold the session in Tashkent.

The tenth session of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation was held on 9 October 2012 in Baku.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the trade turnover between two states made up US$21 million in 2012 against US$86.6 million in 2011. The exports of Uzbekistan made u US$16.4 million (US$34.1 million in 2011) and imports – US$4.6 million (US$52.5 million).
