Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 April, in the Chinese city of Leshan, Sichuan Province, exhibitions and roadshows officially kicked off as part of the "Year of Tourism of Uzbekistan in China" program.

The delegation from the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, along with representatives from Andijan, Namangan, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions, is participating in the 11th Sichuan International Tourism Expo "SCITE."

At the exhibition, new tourist routes from the mentioned regions of Uzbekistan were showcased, aimed at promoting the tourist potential of these areas.

Additionally, during the visit, a meeting was held with Ouyang Zehua, the deputy head of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), where discussions focused on measures to increase tourist flows between the two countries, training personnel, and expanding interregional cooperation in the tourism sector.

On 28 and 30 April, tourist roadshows will also take place in the cities of Changsha (Hunan Province) and Chongqing.
