Thailand introduces mandatory digital arrival card for tourists starting from 1 May
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is changing its entry requirements for tourists starting from 1 May, according to Akhror Burkhanov, spokesperson for Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Under the new rules, all foreign nationals must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card through a designated online platform three days prior to arriving in Thailand.
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged citizens to take this new requirement into account when planning their trips.
It is worth recalling that since July 2024, Uzbek citizens have enjoyed visa-free entry to Thailand for short stays of up to 60 days. For longer stays, travelers must obtain an electronic visa, valid for up to 90 days, for tourism, business, family visits, and other purposes.
