The decision is aimed at strengthening control over compliance of public catering objects, bakeries and tea houses to rules of sanitation, hygiene and fire safety, as well as the rules and regulations of town-planning.

The document entrusted Tashkent city Council of People’s Deputies to carry out explanation works among population on importance of compliances to rules of sanitation, hygiene and fire safety, as well as the rules and regulations of town-planning by public catering objects, bakeries and tea houses.

State department on architecture and construction of Tashkent city, Department on Fire Safety of Main Department of Interior Affairs and local district administrations were entrusted to adopt measures to regulate works of catering objects, bakeries and tea houses, which do not meet requirements on town-planning and fire safety.

Tashkent city State Center for Sanitary-Epidemiology Supervision was entrusted to carry out inspection of markets, public caterings, bakeries and tea houses on their compliance to rules of sanitary and hygiene and monitoring of medical book of employees in each six months.

The authorized bodies were also entrusted to control actions of heads of caterings, bakeries and tea houses, who violated sanitary-hygiene, fire safety and town-planning rules.
