Tashkent administration sets rates for real estate renting
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Administration of Tashkent city approved new minimal rates of state real estate renting in the city. New rates came into force from 1 January 2013.

In line with the decision of Tashkent administration, the zero rate for real estate renting will be applied for budget organizations, Norma.uz reported.

The renting payment rate, leased for use, including in chemistry industry, will make up 2,500 soums per square meter in 2013, which grew by 14% compared to 2012. The rent payment rate in wholesale trade, in particular, grew by 18% from 8,500 soums to 10,000 soums per square meter.

Zero rent payment for use of state real estate will be used for lease of premises at military cities, military units and establishments of trade department of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan.

The decision also approved order of calculation of rent payment. In line with it, the territorial coefficients will be used at calculation of rent payment.

Renters can be released from rent payment if it places social advertisement at the outside of the building. At the same time, special commission on advertisement and information activity of Tashkent administration should approve the advert.

The administration also increased comfort coefficient. At use of real estate for commercial purpose in radius of 200 meters from metro stations, the coefficient will make up 0.8 (0.7 in 2012). If the real estate locates in highway, the coefficient at the size of 0.7% (0.6 in 2012) will be applied.

The rates for 2013 were approved by State Committee for privatization, demonopolization and development of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy.
