Some 36 enterprises loss their ISO 9011 certificates
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzstandard Agency published a list of local enterprises, ISO 9001 international certificates of which were annulled.

The list includes 36 enterprises, which operate in such areas as textile, gas mining, oil processing, food industrial and other sectors of industries. In particular, among them were jewelry plant of Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine, Spentex Tashkent Toytepa, Chirchik Shanhay plast, Shorchi don mahsulot, etc.

Chief editor of Management magazine, which covers ISO certification issues, Riad Ibragimov said that 33% of companies lost their certificates due to non-payment and failure to pass annual audit in the result.

About 27.8% of enterprises lost their certificated due to reorganizations at the enterprise – change of management or founders.

Some 16.7% of enterprises, certificates of which were annulled, could not pass annual audit due to fiscal inspections.

The same number of enterprises refused from ISO 9001 international certificates as there is no need for quality management system.

About 5.6% of enterprises lost their certificates in the result of obtaining quality management certificates of other standards.

As of 1 January 2013, some 722 enterprises of Uzbekistan have international quality management certificates. One third of them were certified by Sert Management in cooperation with TUV International Certification (Germany).
