Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov appointed Andijan region governor

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on appointment of governor of Andijan region on 26 April 2013.

According to the presidential decree, Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov has been appointed as governor of Andijan region.

At this post, he replaced Ahmadjon Umanov, who was appointed as governor of Tashkent region on 1 April 2013.

Prior to appointment, Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov worked as deputy governor of Andijan region on agriculture and water resources.
