Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government of Chelyabinsk region is opening a showroom for its enterprises. 

The exhibition will run until November 2022 and will be supplemented by exhibitors. On an area of 200 sq. m. will accommodate enterprises: industrial, gas, engineering and food industries. Also in the showroom it will be possible to get acquainted with the national and cultural characteristics of the region, tourism and investment potential.

The exhibition is held to strengthen and expand areas of cooperation between Chelyabinsk region and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In addition to traditional B2B, other multi-format events are planned at the venue. The first will be: the exhibition of the national part of the Forum of Heads of Regions of the countries - participants of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Samara, Astrakhan and Omsk regions will take part in it. Everyone will be able to get acquainted with the products of these regions until August 17 inclusive.

“Chelyabinsk Region and the Republic of Uzbekistan have a long and, in my opinion, very successful relationship. Uzbekistan has been and remains one of the most important strategic partners of our region. In order to further strengthen cooperation, we made a decision to open a showroom - announced the Governor of Chelyabinsk region Alexei Teksler. “I hope that this format will help strengthen trade, economic, investment, economic, cultural and other ties at the level of our subjects.”

It is also planned that the number of exhibitors will constantly increase, at the moment, manufacturers of insulating products, steel ball valves and valves, equipment for oil production, industrial caterpillar tractors, bulldozers, pipe and cable layers, special equipment of a wide profile are represented on the territory of the showroom. In the field of food products, there are manufacturers, raw material processing enterprises and manufacturers of high-quality food products (flour, cereals, cereals), and confectionery manufacturers.

It should be noted that at the end of 2021, Chelyabinsk region ranks second among all regions of Russia in terms of exports to the Republic of Uzbekistan, second only to Moscow.

The showroom is one of the effective tools for promoting products to foreign markets, allowing you to build mutually beneficial bilateral relations between countries.
