Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 August 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the Adviser to the Minister for Economy, Innovative Development and Investments Alisher Shukurov and senior officials of departments of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation from Qatar, headed by the Director of the Security Department food products of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment Dr. Masoud Jaralla al-Marri.

During the meeting, they discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, considered the possibilities of expanding trade in agricultural goods, including logistics routes, opening trade missions, etc.

A representative of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of Qatar expressed interest in establishing supply lines for fresh and dried agricultural products from Uzbekistan to Qatar.

The foreign side was provided with information about the large-scale measures being taken to reform the agro-industrial complex of the republic.
