Representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, administration of Bukhara region, other organizations, Chinese partners participated at the ceremony.

According to the resolution of Uzbek President “On measures on implementation of projects “Reconstruction pump station Karakul” in Bukhara region, the agreement with China IPPR International Engineering Corporation was signed on purchase of equipment and spare parts worth US$7.3 million.

The contract was fully executed. Equipment and spare parts were supplied and installed in line with the contract.

In the result of the reconstruction, the capacity of the pump station increased up to 45 cubic meters of water a second. It also helped to increase energy efficiency of the station.
