Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed to provide support to entrepreneurs in 5 areas.
One of the directions is the definition of an approach to support companies with their division into categories.
Enterprises will be classified by annual turnover:
entities with an annual turnover of up to 1 billion soums - microbusiness;
entities with an annual turnover of up to 10 billion soums - small businesses;
entities with an annual turnover of up to 100 billion soums are medium-sized businesses.
From 1 January, a tax rate of 4% will be introduced for microbusinesses. At the same time, the current rates of 1 and 2% for entrepreneurs in remote areas will remain.
Enterprises of the second category during the year will pay 2 times less income tax.
Enterprises of the second category, that is, whose turnover exceeded 1 billion soums and which switched to the general procedure for paying taxes, will pay 2 times less income tax during the year. "These opportunities will facilitate the activities and give a powerful incentive to 370,000 entrepreneurs," the head of our state said.
