President Mirziyoyev Visits NovoPlast TPE Plant in Chirchik

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has visited the NovoPlast TPE enterprise located in the Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Russian company VR Plast.

The plant covers an area of 4,200 square metres, and the total project cost is US$5.4 million. The facility includes a modern laboratory and newly launched innovative production lines.

The company specializes in the production of thermoplastic elastomer granules and finished products based on them. In particular, it manufactures seals for doors and window frames, hoses for industrial and food applications, as well as polymer products for the construction and electrical engineering sectors.

The products are noted for their high strength, resistance to deformation and environmental impact, ensuring wide application in construction, automotive manufacturing, the food industry, and the electrical sector.

The enterprise operates a research centre where new thermoplastic elastomer formulations are developed based on the requirements of Asian and European markets. Finished products are tested for compliance with international standards.

The project has created 58 jobs. Last year, production reached 103 billion soums, while exports amounted to US$5 million. The company also contributed to import substitution, producing goods worth US$8.5 million in equivalent import-substituting output in 2025.

In the future, the company plans to increase production to 177 billion soums and raise the export share to 60%. These plans are expected to strengthen the company’s position in both the domestic market and across Central Asia and international markets.
