IT Park discusses entry of Uzbek IT companies into Europe
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — IT Park Uzbekistan has held an open discussion with representatives of Schwarz Digits and STACKIT, along with resident product and technology companies of IT Park, focusing on opportunities for Uzbek IT firms to enter the European corporate market.
Schwarz Group, the parent company of Lidl and Kaufland, operates in more than 30 countries, employs over 500,000 people, and is among Europe’s largest corporate groups. Through its divisions Schwarz Digits and STACKIT, the group is developing an ecosystem of sovereign digital infrastructure and views Uzbekistan as a strategic technology partner.
During the discussion, participants addressed key aspects of entering the European market, including data storage and protection requirements, compliance with European security and regulatory standards, and the specifics of working with corporate clients. The role of reliable infrastructure and partnership ecosystems in Europe was also highlighted.
Special attention was given to the STACKIT cloud platform and its role in regulated European markets.
Company representatives outlined how corporate clients approach data storage, infrastructure, and trust in technology providers, stressing the importance of sovereign digital infrastructure for operating in the enterprise segment.
Practical aspects of market entry and scaling in Europe were also discussed, including the readiness of Uzbek IT companies to work with corporate customers and compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
For Uzbek companies, the meeting provided an opportunity to establish direct dialogue with Schwarz Digits and STACKIT and explore potential pathways to the European market through the Schwarz Group ecosystem.
IT Park Uzbekistan stated that such initiatives are part of a broader strategy to develop international technological cooperation and expand export opportunities for the country’s IT sector.
