NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” hold a month of improvement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” is holding a month of improvement of cities and settlement “My house – Uzbekistan” from 20 February to 20 March 2013 within the preparation to Navruz holiday (21 March).

The organization will hold several events such as “Light streets”, “1000 honors to elder people”, “One person – one plant”. The events are organized in all regions of Uzbekistan.

NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” calls all organizations and people to participate in the events to improve cities of Uzbekistan, make them cleaner and more beautiful.

The campaign “Light streets” was held in Jizzakh on 20-23 February, which was organized by the NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” at the support of sponsors, entrepreneurs and activists. Some 212 lamps were replaced in the streets.

On 5 March, the campaign “1000 honors to elder people” was held in Jizzakh and the concert for elder people was held. The elder people were treated with food and sweets.

The campaign “1000 honors to elder people” was also held in Navoi on 21 February. Some 130 people were invited to festive table at Osiyo restaurant.

Hashar (voluntary works) are also conducted across Uzbekistan. Within the campaign “One person – one plant”, some 600 trees plants were planted at Kosim shayh and Kalkon ota monuments. The campaign “Light streets” will be also held in Navoi.

NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” organized hashar in Samarkand region. Some 300 fruit trees were planted. It is planned to replace lamps in three streets in the region. On 14 March, it is planned to hold a festive event for elder people of the region.
