Nestle Pure Life marks its 10th anniversary in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Nestle Pure Life trademark observed its 10th anniversary of work in Uzbekistan. On 19 December 2012, Nestle Uzbekistan organized a press tour for mass media representatives of Uzbekistan to plant in Tashkent.

Nestle Uzbekistan joint venture was created on the base of Namangan dairy plant Nafosat, which earlier produced milk products from 1987.

Nestle Uzbekistan was founded on 10 February 2000. From 2002, the plant started to produce still and sparked bottled water Nestle Pure Life in PET bottles with the capacity of 1.5 liter, 1 liter and 0.5 liter.

In 2010, Nestle Uzbekistan opened its second plant in Tashkent on production of Nestle Pure Life bottled waters. The plant produces bottled waters in 1.5 liter sparked water, 5 liters and 18.9 liters still water. It also started to deliver water to houses and offices. Production of Nestle Pure Life has been started in January 2011.

Director of Tashkent plant Otabek Azizov said Nestle Pure Life water is produced from deep-well water, which undergoes multistage cleaning. He said that high quality water is produced due to special production process, which envisages adherence to sanitary-epidemiology requirement, as well as regular control of quality to Nestle standards, approved by Central Labaratory Perrier Vittel in France. Nestle Pure Life is drinking water, which can be consumed by all members of family and can be used for drinking and cooking.

Nestle Uzbekistan director-general Filipp Gorbunov underlined that Nestle Waters, which owns Nestle Pure Life, works in 130 countries and unites 64 brands, including such international brands as Perrier, Vittel, Contrex and S.Pellegrino. Currently, Nestle Pure Life holds one of leading positions in bottled water supplies in Uzbekistan, he said. According some reports, its market share makes up over 30%.

According to representatives of the company, Nestle Pure Life undergoes over 100 quality tests, which ensures high quality and taste of the product. Mr. Gorbunov underlined that the company invested 1.2 billion soums to measures on ensuring quality.
