Nasima Mamirova Wins Silver for Uzbekistan at Asian Games
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the 3rd Asian Youth Games, the Uzbekistan national team added another medal to its tally.
In the girls’ 2000-meter steeplechase, Uzbek athlete Nasima Mamirova claimed the silver medal, finishing in second place.
To date, Uzbekistan has won a total of 12 medals at the competition: six gold, two silver, and four bronze.
