Mirziyoyev Reviews Youth Training System in Kuva District
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Vocational School No. 1 in Kuva district of the Ferghana region to review the system of training young people in modern professions and foreign languages.
The visit highlighted Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms in vocational education, which emphasize the development of human capital as a key factor in national competitiveness, alongside natural resources and economic potential.
Within this framework, vocational colleges across the country are being transformed into practical training centers focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and modern skills.
The vocational school in Kuva has become an example of this approach. It now includes training centers and facilities that support youth startup initiatives.
Students study German and Chinese languages with the involvement of international educational partners. At the same time, training is provided in fields such as logistics, agricultural drone operation, smart irrigation systems, and installation and maintenance of solar panels.
A dual education system has been introduced, allowing 550 students to combine theoretical learning with practical training at enterprises.
Special attention is given to a startup center where young people develop skills in high-demand areas such as robotics, SMM (social media marketing), mobile content creation, and design, helping foster entrepreneurial thinking.
The project also foresees the creation of 200 new jobs. The experience gained in Kuva is planned to be expanded to 10 additional agricultural vocational schools across the country.
During the visit, the President spoke with students mastering modern professions and wished them success in their studies and future careers.
