Ministry of Energy: Cooperation on personnel training discussed with Saudi Aramco

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Cooperation in the field of personnel training was discussed during a meeting between the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Azim Akhmedkhadjaev and members of the management of Saudi Aramco.

The negotiations were held as part of the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia.

As noted, there is an interest in establishing bilateral cooperation in the field of experience exchange and training on the basis of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

Saudi Aramco has, in particular, developments in the implementation of the Personnel Training Program with subsequent mandatory employment for 4 years.

In addition, this company initiated the creation of the KAUST University in cooperation with Western research institutes and universities. The high technical level of the graduates of this university is a prerequisite for cooperation in the field of high technologies at the world level, as well as the creation of high-tech enterprises.

Also during the negotiations, the Uzbek side expressed interest in cooperation in the field of digitalization and exploration, the experience that Saudi Aramco has in the field of 3D modeling of deposits and analysis of soil composition to obtain the optimal drilling point for maximum reservoir productivity and other directions.

The parties expressed mutual interest in developing cooperation and agreed to work out areas of cooperation in the field of personnel training and other areas.
