According to the company, Maxam-Chirchiq in 2012 produced 511,260 tonnes of synthetic ammonia (+14.4% year-on-year), 296,269 tonnes of nitric mineral fertilizers (+6%), and 479,670 tonnes of ammonium nitrate.

Production of carbamide grew by 5% year-on-year in 2012 up to 197,187 tonnes, sulphate ammonia – by 31.8% to 190,803 tonnes and non-concentrated nitric acid – by 8.3% to 477,414 tonnes.

Maxam-Chirchiq also manufactured consumer goods for 27.769 billion soums in 2012, which grew by 20.7% year-on-year.

Last year, the enterprise exported products for over US$76.681 million against forecast volume of US$70.525 million.

In particular, Maxam-Chirchiq exported 105,146 tonnes of ammonium nitrate for US$26.94 million, carbamide – 95,308 tonnes for US$33.66 million and sulphate ammonium – 9,869 tonnes for US$1.46 million tonnes in 2012.

The company also shipped 19,224 tonnes of porous nitre for US$5.81 million, 17,721 tonnes of ammonia for US$5.85 million. Exports of other goods made up US$2.95 million.

Maxam-Chirchiq OJSC, former Elektrohimprom, was commissioned in 1940 and specializes on production of ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and carbamide. MaxamCorp S.A.U. purchased 49% stake at Elektrohimprom for US$22 million in 2007. The company undertook obligation to invest US$55 million in next five years.
