Lukoil Uzbekistan decided to develop and introduce quality management system in line with the requirement of ISO 9001 standards. It created a working group to implement the task. The group carried out work on development and introduction of ISO 9001 standards, guidelines on quality, and other documentation.

In November-December 2012, the company conducted internal audit of its divisions for compliance of ISO 9001 standards, developed quality management system procedures, normative and methodical documents, etc.

In the beginning of February, Bureau Veritas carried out certification audit of quality management system of the operator, its divisions, as well as shops on oil and gas production at Gissar.

In the line of the audit, the company did not find any gap. The auditors underlined strong sides of quality management system of Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company such as introduction of advanced technologies and project management, etc.

In the result of certification audit, Bureau Veritas said that Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company meets standards of ISO 9001 and gave recommendation to certification.
