Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 August this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Kh. Teshabaev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Dorj Bayarkhuu (with residence in Nur-Sultan).

During the negotiations, ways to expand bilateral investment and trade and economic cooperation, as well as the progress in implementing the agreements reached following the 6th round of political consultations held on 15 March 2022 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Mongolia were considered.

Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of bilateral trade and implementing joint investment projects, including by expanding the range of high-value-added goods supplied to the markets of both countries in the textile, leather and footwear industries, agriculture, food and automotive industries.

As a result of the meeting, the issue of practical actions to further deepen cooperation in priority areas was agreed upon.
