The event was directed at strengthening humanitarian relations between Uzbekistan and Spain through expansion of knowledge of Spanish public circles on main stages of intergovernmental relations between Uzbekistan and Spain. Two nations established bilateral relations about 6 centuries ago.

Luis-Regino Mateo del Peral, a partner of Fund Forum in Spain and prominent historian, was a moderator of the event.

Spanish professor briefed the participants about achievements of Amir Temur, its key role in history of Western Europe. Participants expressed great interest to Uzbekistan and its history.

Professor Mateo del Peral underlined importance of activities of Fund Forum in humanitarian cooperation.

It was noted that Fund Forum continues to promote historic heritage of Uzbekistan abroad. It was said that Fund Forum is one of the largest NGOs of Uzbekistan and it helps to rehabilitate spiritual heritage, national traditions of Uzbek people, etc.
