GM Uzbekistan sells 7,800 cars in Kazakhstan in 2012

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US carmaker, increased sales of cars by 2.04 times year-on-year in 2012 – from 3,829 units to 7,796 units, a consulting firm Qncepto said in its report.

According Qncepto, GM Uzbekistan claimed the third place on the volume of sold cars in Kazakhstan in 2012 after LADA (34,839 sold cars) and Toyota (7,891 cars).

Qncepto’s report said that Nexia model, produced in Uzbekistan, claimed the third place among bestsellers in Kazakhstan in 2012 as in previous year.

Other model of GM Uzbekistan, Matiz, was on the tenth place among bestsellers in Kazakh market compared to the eleventh place in 2011.
