Fund Forum to hold charity concert instead of marathon
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Fund Forum and Women’s Council issued a following statement:

Organizational committee of annual Susan G. Komen Uzbekistan Race for the Cure, represented by Fund Forum, Women’s Council, “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, was shocked with tragic events at Boston marathon and expresses its deep condolences to families and relatives of victims.

After announces security measures in Uzbekistan over mass events outside stadiums or other protected premises, and showing solidarity and respect to marathon movement ideas worldwide, the organization committee of Susan G. Komen Uzbekistan Race for the Cured decided to postpone final race in Tashkent and host a charity concert to support marathon movement on 27 April 2013.

Currently, over 222,000 people across Uzbekistan, in each region, participated in charity marathons and football matches, which were held under motto “In the Name of Life. The participants of the race joined to idea of sympathy and support of victims of tragic events in Boston.

The charity concert, which will be held at Turkistan Palace in Tashkent on 27 April 2013, can visit any person, who bought T-shirt of Susan G. Komen Uzbekistan Race for the Cure and contributed to support women with breast cancer, and support those, who experience tragic events in the United States. The events in Boston changed perceptions of many people.

Good projects do not have borders. And it is the power of those, who believe in goodness.
